Kashmiri teachers resent Indian Army Chief’s remarks

ISLAMABAD,(MILLAT ONLINE):Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF) Chairman, Abdul Qayoom Wani, in Indian occupied Kashmir, has termed as unjustified, the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat’s remarks regarding teaching of Jammu and Kashmir map in schools and said that the teachers are well aware of their duties.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Qayoom Wani while addressing a meeting of JKTF office-bearers in held Srinagar said, “Bipin Rawat’s statement is unjustified and does not suit to the officer holding such a responsible position. Teaching of J&K map in our schools is a part of education, not an offence.”
He said that Kashmiri teachers were well aware of their duties and profession. “They are discharging their duties even in difficult situations,” he told the JKTF office-bearers.
