ISLAMABAD, (APP): Land sliding near Lowari Tunnel has blocked
linking routes to Dir and Chitral at Ziarat stop from rest of the region on
Wednesday.
Heavy rain in the area has caused lightening strike at Lowari Top that
resulted in land sliding. Sources told that as many as four cars have also been drowned in flood water, a private news channel reported.
The mishap has also left two drivers injured who have been shifted to
hospital for medical assistance.
Rescue teams have reopened the Dir road after cleaning process while work is underway to unblock the Chitral road for traffic.
