LHCBA announces 3-day mourning

LAHORE, Aug 8 (APP): The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA)
on Monday announced a 3-day mourning over the loss of precious lives in
the deadly terrorist attack in Quetta.
The bar also announced to offer funeral prayer in absentia for the victims on Tuesday.
The decision was made in a bar general house meeting which was
presided over by LHCBA President Rana Zia Abdur Rehman.
On this occasion, the lawyers’ representatives condemned the target killing of former President Baluchistan High Court Bar Bilal Anwar Kasi
and subsequent blast at hospital.
Later, lawyers staged a protest rally at GPO Chowk and chanted
slogans against terrorism.
