PESHAWAR, (MILLAT/APP): Deputy Director Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Wajid Ali Khan Wednesday chaired a meeting to review and discuss post-monsoon contingency plan 2017.
The meeting also discussed coordination of concerned agencies with PDMA and preparedness for upcoming monsoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director PDMA stressed upon coordination of all the organizations with PDMA in the time of disaster adding that every organization need to form its own contingency plan. He also discussed basic components of a contingency plan including human resources, machinery, equipments, vulnerable points, alternative to minimize impact of disaster, proper mechanism of reporting and emergency control room.
