BAHAWALPUR, Feb 23 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bahawalpur presided over a meeting to review progress of Local Government Development
Package 2017-18 at Committee Room of Commissioner Office.
The meeting was told that Rs 116 million would be spent collectively on development schemes of Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur and relevant Tehsil Municipal Committees. It reviewed 73 schemes of Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur, 45 schemes of Municipal Committee Ahamadpur East, 13 schemes of Municipal Committee Uch Sharif, 16 schemes of Municipal Committee Yazman, 34 schemes of Municipal Committee Hasilpur and 31 schemes of Municipal Committee Khairpur Tamewali.
The meeting reviewed development projects underway at tehsil levels. It reviewed 83 projects of Bahawalpur Sadar, 165 of Hamapur East, 92 of Yazman, 70 of Hasilpur and 47 development schemes of Khairpur Tamewali tehsil. The meeting was told that 457 development schemes of Bahawalpur District Council will be completed with a cost of Rs 220 million.
