Mehbooba’s anti-Pakistan remarks evoke more condemnation

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Hurriyet leaders, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Zafar
Akbar Butt in Indian occupied Kashmir have condemned the puppet Chief
Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, for her anti-Pakistan remarks.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Pakistan is
supporting the cause of Kashmiris and people like Mehbooba Mufti are trying to create misunderstandings about that country, KMS reported.
“Kashmiri people love Pakistan for obvious reasons and India has
assigned Mehbooba Mufti and some others the task to create a wedge between
Pakistan and Kashmiris,” he said.
Nayeem Khan said, when Mehbooba wants votes she goes to people wearing
green robes. She has exploited the innocent people’s sentiments as on reaching the throne, she has started hurting the same sentiments, he pointed out.
Zafar Akbar Butt in his statement in Srinagar, reacting to the Mehbooba
Mufti’s assertion said, “Pakistan is a democratic, moderate, progressive
country richly endowed with human and natural resources and comparing it with Iraq and Syria was unrealistic.”
Advising Mehbooba Mufti to go through the current geo-political
situation before making any comment against Pakistan, he said, the country is supporting Kashmiris’ freedom struggle on political, diplomatic and moral
levels.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) spokesman
condemned the detention of pro-freedom leaders terming the action as unethical and undemocratic. He said that such tactics could not suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement.
