PESHAWAR, (APP): Minister for Education, Muhammad Atif
on Thursday directed the officials concerned to ensure meeting
the targets set in the current fiscal budget for the development and education projects.
He said action would be taken against the responsible persons for not
achieving the targets.
He stated this while presiding over a high level meeting regarding the
budget targets of his department.
The minister was told that 23.54 percent allocated budget has been
utilized so far and all the targets would be achieved by June 2016.
The meeting was informed that work on development projects would be
completed within the stipulated time frame.
The minister said performance of district level officials would be
monitored. He further said that no compromise should be made on the implementation of education policy of the present government.
Senior officials of Education Department attended the meeting.
