Missing facilities being provided at public schools: DC

MULTAN, June 01 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha has said
that missing facilities including boundary wall would be provided at
the public schools by the end of this month at a cost of Rs 560 million.
He was presiding over the district education committee here on Thursday. Chief Executive Officer Education Aizaz Joiya and other officials
attended the meeting.
He said that basic facilities including new class rooms, IT
laboratories and furniture were being provided at 229 public schools
under the Khadim-e-Punjab School Programme.
He directed the monitoring staff to improve their performance. He
said that the district government had fully authorised the school
councils.
