ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP): National Assembly’s Standing Committee on overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development meeting on Monday will be given briefing on detained overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) jails due to minor crimes and the reasons for their detention. The meeting will be briefed about Pakistani prisoners who have completed their punishment period but still in prison due to non payment of fines and penalties with individual breakup of fines. The meeting to be chaired by Amir Ali Khan Magsi will also discuss behavior of employers towards overseas pakistanis in both the countries.
