Nawaz Sharif strove for restoration of judiciary: Tariq
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has
said former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not against any particular institution, and instead
he did struggle for restoration judiciary in Musharraf era.
Nawaz Sharif had played a leading role in restoration of independent judiciary, he said talking to a
private news channel.
The minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had reservations on the
disqualification of Nawaz Sharif, on having an ‘Iqama’.
Dr Tariq Fazal said PML-N had roots among masses and would be elected on the basis of performance
and prudent policies in the general election 2018.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan himself confessed
that he owned Niazi Service and action should be taken against him.
