No evidence regarding Panama Papers case available with opposition: Asif

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): Minister for Defence Khawaja
Muhammad Asif has said the opposition did not have any authentic
evidence regarding Panama Papers case.
Speaking to a TV channel, he said if the members of the
Parliament unanimously accept the bill on Panama Papers then the
government would also accept it.
He said the Parliament had played a pivotal role during the
last Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek
(PAT) sit-ins.
The minister said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had
presented himself for accountability on Panama Papers from day
one.
He said the opposition was trying to prolong the Panama
Papers issue.
He said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government had
always respected the courts and their verdicts.
Khawaja Asif said he had won five elections which were
challenged by his opponents, but the courts had given decisions in
his favor.
Replying to a question, he said the credit of continuity of
democracy during the last eight years goes to military leadership
as they were supporting democracy in the country.
