ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP): Senator Sehar Kamran has
congratulated the nation on the historic decision made by the
Supreme Court on the Panama Case today.
She said it is defining moment for Pakistan as five judges of
the Supreme Court bench unanimously disqualified Nawaz Sharif.
Senator Kamran stated it is heartening to see that state
institutions have started to set a good precedence which will
benefit the country in the long run.
She said the democratic process in Pakistan should prevail and
the accountability process should strengthen, following this
decision, said a press release here.
Sehar Kamran said this decision will be remembered in the
history of Pakistan. She paid tribute to the Judges of Supreme Court
and the members of Joint Investigative Team whose resolve did not
waiver despite constant blackmailing and pressure tactics. Nawaz
Sharif has become history, she added.
