Peace in Fata returned due to sacrifice of tribesmen, security forces: Governor

PESHAWAR, (APP): Khyber Pakthunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra
said Tuesday that peace in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) was returned due to supreme sacrifices of the tribal people and security forces, saying the entire nation held it in high esteem.
He said the sacrifices rendered by tribal people for establishment of
durable peace and stability of the country was highly valued by the entire nation and time has come to take effective and comprehensive measures for their well beings and socio-economic development.
In this connection, the Governor said the Government was taking
comprehensive measures to bring tribal people into national mainstream.
He said solid and forceful measures are being taken to ensure peace and
stability in Fata besides rehabilitation, reconstruction and dignified return of temporarily displaced people (TDPs) to their native areas.
He expressed these views while talking to a representative delegation of
South Waziristan Agency led by Member National Assembly Galib Khan here at governor House.
The Governor said establishment of durable peace, bringing improvement
in socio-economic sectors especially provision of better services in health and education sectors to FATA people, dignified returning of TDPs and elimination of lawlessness from Fata was his top priority.
He said the Government was utilizing all available resources to ensure
dignified return of TDPs to their native areas besides their rehabilitation and resettlements. He said the time has come to take comprehensive and forceful measures to address the sufferings of tribesmen.
The Governor said the comprehensive reforms are being taken to enhance
capacity of the administration and bring improvement in lives of tribal people as per their wishes and aspirations.
The Governor was appraised by the delegation about their problems. The
Governor assured for solution of
their problems.
