ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister for Information, Broadcasting
and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Wednesday strongly
condemned the incidents of firing on police personnel in Karachi.
In a statement, the minister said that such cowardly acts of
terror can never weaken the resolve of the nation against terrorism
and extremism.
He said that the whole nation stood united to eliminate the
scourge of terrorism from the soil of the motherland.
“We will not rest till the elimination of last terrorist
from the soil of Pakistan and we will not shy away from any
sacrifice while securing the life of the citizens,” he added.
The minister said that valiant soldiers and security
forces are laying down their lives to eliminate terrorists
and smash their evil network. “They are sacrificing their
today to secure our tomorrow,” he added.
Their sacrifices in the battle against terrorism and
extremism would not go waste, he said.
The minister expressed deep grief and sorrow with the
families of the persons who lost their lives in the attacks.
