Pervaiz Rashid inaugurates Chines exhibition of Muslim Customs at NUML

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister for Information,Broadcasting
and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Friday inaugurated
“one belt,one road”,a photo exhibition on Muslim customs in
National University of Modern Languages (NUML) here.
The exhibition was arranged by the Embassy of Peoples Republic
of China,Ningxia Islamic Friendly Council and NUML.
Chinese charged d’affaires Zhao Lijian and Head of Ningxia
Islamic Council Hei Liangji were also present on the occasion.
Talking to media after inaugurating the exhibition,the
minister said that holding of this exhibition in Islamabad not only
reflected the deep cultural ties between peoples of the Paksitan and
China but also a testimony of Chinese Government’s policy of ethnic
equality and religious freedom under which Muslims enjoy equal rights.
This exhibition,he said,was a message as the two countries
celebrate the 65th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between
Pakistan and China. He said our people are connected with strong
bonds of friendship and brotherhood.
The minister congratulated Ningxia Islamic Friendly Council
for their efforts to highlight the tolerance and harmony in the
Chinese society. He said exhibitions like this help promote people
to people contacts and cultural cooperation which deepens existing
friendly relations between both the countries.
The minister said that China Paksitan Economic Corridor is
being constructed along the Silk Route which has expanded the Pak-
China relations by providing it solid economic foundations and
dynamism.
The minister said that these relations can now be termed as
both corporate and cultural strategic partnership. He said that Pak-
China relations are rooted in the will of the people of both the
nations and such exhibitions will bring the people of both the
countries even more closer.
