ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP): Vice Chancellor Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Dr Javed Akram Thursday said that Bone Marrow Transplant Unit would be fully functional within few days. Talking to APP, he said that the PC-4 of the project has been submitted and the meeting was held in this regard. Around 120 member staff of the unit including 40 nurses and 20 doctorswould be deployed in the unit soon, he added. He said that there was salary issue of staff of hospital’s Bone Marrow Transplant Unit as the unit was functioning on project basis, which had completed its project time.
