ISLAMABAD, (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
Tuesday chaired a meeting to discuss issues pertaining to national
and internal security here at the PM House.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Minister for
Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar,
National Security Advisor Nasir Khan Janjua, Special Assistant to
PM on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi, DG ISI, Foreign Secretary and
senior officials of the government participated in the meeting.
A statement from the PM House said the participants of the
meeting strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism in
Shabqadar on March 7, in which civilians and Law Enforcement Agency
personnel lost precious lives.
The meeting agreed that elimination of terrorism from
Pakistan’s soil was a national resolve. They paid tributes to the
personnel of Law Enforcement and Security Agencies who embraced
martyrdom while fighting the menace of terrorism.
