PML-N lawmakers condemn Imran Khan’s comments about parliament

LAHORE, (MILLAT ONLINE):Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) lawmakers on Thursday condemned the comments
of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan during a rally organised by the Pakistan
Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Wednesday.
Talking to APP, PML-N leader and senator Kulsoom Parveen
said:”We strongly reject anti-parliament comments made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman
Imran Khan who often used humiliating words for lawmakers and parliament”.
She said that no similar example in any democracy in the world could be found where
parliament was commented in an uncivic manner.
MPA Qazi Adnan Farid said that those who did not accept supremacy of parliament,
their presence in parliament or resignation had no value.
MPA Majid Zahoor emphasised that any drawback or mistake of the government
could not be connected to failure of parliament.
He said the PML-N had always honoured and struggled for
strengthening the august house and will continue
to do so in future.
Spokesman for Punjab Government Malik Muhammad Ahmad
Khan said that in Quad-e-Azam’s Pakistan, public service was
the only true spirit of politics rather than blame game.
He said the PML-N had given unprecedented development
projects and did not believe in confrontation.
