ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP):Potohar Organization for
Development Advocacy (PODA) will organize an event titled “Meet
Olympians and National Champions and hear their success stories” on
February 16.
The event would be held at Jinnah Hall (stadium), Pakistan
Sports Board, Sports Complex.
In connection with the National Women Day to be observed on
February 12, PODA is celebrating resilience of Pakistani women by
recognizing successes and achievements of Pakistani sportswomen who
remained a source of applaud and jubilation for all of us.
An official of PODA said that sportswomen who had achieved
national and international recognition in all kinds of sports were
coming to share their stories to tell how they have succeeded in
their aim to play.
“Lok Natak” a group working for women empowerment in the country will join the event in celebrations with their powerful performance to honour Pakistani sportswomen
PODA is currently implementing a year-long project titled
“EIDHR Measures 2015” under the European Union Delegation to
Pakistan.
