PESHAWAR, Nov 1 (APP): The district police on Tuesday arrested 149 law violators including 5 proclaimed offenders during a crackdown against anti-social elements from City, Cantt, Rural and Saddar circles. According to police, 149 criminals and drug peddlers were arrested while 13 bikers for pillion riding and 38 businessmen having poor security arrangements were also taken into custody. Police recovered arms and narcotics from the arrested criminals. The operation was carried out under the instruction of CCPO and supervised by SSP Operations. Check posts were erected on exit and entry points of the district.
