HYDERABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP)
divisional leadership in Hyderabad has assigned focal persons for each
of the 9 districts in Hyderabad divisions as well as for each taluka
in these districts for the population census.
The PPP Hyderabad Division in a meeting here on Sunday under the chair
of Divisional President Syed Ali Nawaz Shah discussed arrangements for
the census which was starting from March 15.
Divisional General Secretary, Dost Ali Jessar and other divisional and
district level office bearers attended the meeting.
The Divisional President while addressing the meeting explained that distribution of the financial resources and development depended on proper counting of the people who live in a particular area, district, division and the province.
He advised the people to write their sub-nationality as Sindhi in the
census so that the province gets its rightful share on the basis of
population and representation in the legislatures from Sindh also
increases.
The others leaders also shared their views and informed about their
preparedness at the meeting.
