ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The prices of fruits and vegetables
overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the
federal capital here on Monday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato sold at Rs 25 per kilogram,
Onion Rs 29, Tomato Rs 45, Ginger Rs 95/75, Garlic (China) Rs 285,
Garlic Local 315, Lemon Rs 55, Lady Finger Rs 120, Pumpkin Rs 55,
Brinjal Rs 32, Peas Rs 55, Fresh Bean Rs 45, Tinda Walaiti (Imported
gourd small) Rs 42, Cucumber Rs 55, Capsicum Rs 75, Green Chilli Rs
55, Cauliflower Rs 26, Cabbage Rs 30, Bitter Gourd Rs 96, Spinach
Rs 15, Radish Rs 12, Turnip Rs 24,Yam Rs 76, Maroo Rs 35, Carrot
Rs 30, Chicken Rs 119 and Egg per dozen Rs 123.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium
quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 120/90,
Apple Golden Rs 85/60, Apple White Rs 65/55, Apple China Rs
135/105, Banana Pak Rs 75/45, Grapes Toffee Rs 160/125, Guava 65/40,
Pomegranate Rs 184/150, Musumi Rs 128/100, Shakri Rs 130/100, Kino
Rs 53/40, Fruiter Rs 80/50, Pear China Rs 165/140.
