Proper use of British aid yielding positive results: Theresa May

LAHORE, July 13 (APP): New British Prime Minister Mrs
Theresa May on Wednesday appreciated efforts and commitment
of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif regarding
correct use of British aid in the province.
She said due to personal interest taken by Chief Minister
Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, proper utilization of British aid had
yielded positive results.
She expressed these views while talking to Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif on telephone.
The British premier expressed satisfaction that British aid
was being utilized in a productive manner and the Chief
Minister was spending it on the welfare of the people, which
was laudable.
The Chief Minister felicitated the new British Prime Minister
on assuming the office of Prime Minister of United Kingdom.
Mrs Theresa May also inquired about the wellbeing of
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and congratulated Shehbaz
Sharif on the recovery of the Prime Minister.
