Punjab Healthcare Commission regional office inaugurated

MULTAN, Oct 20 (APP): The Punjab Healthcare Commission extending its circle of services, established a regional office here on Thursday. An inauguration ceremony was held in this connection in which DCO Nadir Chatha also participated. The purpose of establishing regional office is to regulate all health centres working at government and private level, introduce and implement the standard of services under Clinical Governance, and issue the licenses to these centres. The commission will be helpful to resolve the complaints of local people about health and launch an impressive campaign against quacks. Chief Operating Officer Dr Muhammad Ajmal said that over 31,000 centres providing health facilities had been registered with the commission during last three to four years while 17,000 licenses were also issued.
