Rains wreak havoc in Balochistan

QUETTA, (APP): Heavy rains lashing for last several days have
played havoc in different areas of Balochistan as mud hoses were collapses, roads were washed away and death causes by rain-related incidents were also reported.
Reports reaching here on Thursday said that rain lashing Balochistan for
last several days had caused flash flood in storm water nullahs and destruction in different areas of the province. The rain also continued lashing the provincial capital Quetta.
APP reporters from different districts said that dozens of mud houses
have collapsed and roads have been washed away.
Two children were washed away in flash flood and a man was killed as
lightening fell down on him in border area of Chaman. Several roads were washed away due to hill torrents in Chaman, Toba Achakzai, Toba Kakari, Gwadar, Turbat and Khuzdar districts. Eight people sustained injuries as lightening fell down in village Jalal-ud-Din in Pak-Afghan border area.
The flash flood entered Chaman Grid Station, affecting electricity supply system.
Heavy rains with thunderstorm were also reported in Zhob, Loralai, Musa
Khel, Harnai, Dukki, Pishin, Khanozai, Kalat, Mastung, Sibi, Bolan, Awaran, Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Dera Bugti and other areas of the province which caused damages to mud houses and roads. Power supply was also suspended in several areas due to heavy raining. The storm water nullahs in several districts of the province have received flash flood which posed more threats to populated areas.
