Rajwana urges people not to pay heed to those talking negative

MULTAN, Dec 25 (APP)::Punjab Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana said on Monday
that Pakistan was witnessing a steady process of development and urged
the people not to pay heed to those talking negatively.

Governor said this while addressing the concluding ceremony of Multan
Trade Carnival at Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

Malik Rafiq Rajwana also cut the cake to mark the birth anniversary of
Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah during his visit to stalls set up at
Multan Trade Carnival.

He hailed the contribution of business community for keeping industrial
wheel in motion and providing jobs to a large number of people.

Governor said that no one can stop Pakistan from progressing further.

Rajwana said that he knew business community has complaints against the
tax departments and stressed that tax payers and tax departments need
build a relationship based on trust. He said that people would pay taxes
happily amid trust bsed relationship and when they get proper
facilities.

He said that economic zones would be set up as part of China Pakistan
Economic Corridor (CPEC) and industries would be functional there.

He said that apprehensions of the people that CPEC projects would leave
then uncompetitive were unfounded adding:”We will address their
apprehensions.”

Governor Rajwana said that being Pakistani we all own Pakistan adding
that all political parties and political leaders were loyal to the
country.

He said that people would decide who they should vote for in the 2018
general elections. He said that everyone should adopt positive thinking
and criticism aimed rectifying errors should be welcomed.

He said that he was happy to witness the trade exhibition organized by MCCI.

To a question, Governor said that land of boys scouts association near
MCCI can not be transferred, however, government can think of permitting
its temporary utilization for organizing trade and industrial
exhibitions.

MCCI president Malik Israr Ahmad Awan, MCCI exhibitions committee
chairman Mian Mughees A. Sheikh besides industrialists and officials
were present.
