Reforms in education sector needed to improve stander

ISLAMABAD,(APP): Educationists have demanded of the government to introduce essential reforms in education sector to improve standar of education in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, they said the recent survey in education field revealed that round about 26 million children were out of the schools in the country due to shortage of facilities and trained teachers in the country.
Educationist Naeem Hassan of Punjab said there were three main causes that which were facing the education sector of the country such as lack of teachers’training and a system to well equip teaching staff and train them in better way, the social status of teachers was very low and pathetic due to which people avoid adopting teaching profession and educational curriculum was outdated and unable to produce fruitful results.
He said the government should resolve all such problems as “Parha Likha Punjab” was the slogan of the current government since the coming in power so that Pakistan should be listed amongst highly literate countries.
Researcher Imran khan has said that Pakistan’s education system should be strong and upto the mark so that maximum children should be enrolled into the schools in the country.
Replying to a question , Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw Educationist Dr. Khadim
Hussain said that the education system in his province also needed reforms
in terms of standard, administration adding that most of the schools’ buildings were in dilapidated condition and there was no proper system of classrooms as well as washrooms in the schools.
