Rivers flows, reservoirs level report

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The position of the river inflows and
outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels
and the barrages Friday is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 47,700 cusecs and Outflows 25,000
cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 49,300 cusecs and Outflows 49,300 cusecs,Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 59,700 cusecs and Outflows 58,900 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 23,100 cusecs and Outflows 9,000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 76,100 cusecs and Outflows 68,600
cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 67,900 cusecs and Outflows 64,900 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 103,600 cusecs and Outflows 103,600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 42,200 cusecs and Outflows 38,000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 67,100 cusecs and Outflows 67,100 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 67,400 cusecs and Outflows 40,800 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 20,800 cusecs and Outflows 20,060 cusecs.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1,380 feet, present level 1481.97
feet, maximum conservation level 1,550 feet, live storage is 2.854 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1,040 feet, present level 1135.80
feet, maximum conservation level 1,242 feet, live storage is 1.493 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 648.00 feet,maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage is 0.240 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River
Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6 am.
