Rivers of Flows, Reservoirs Level Report

MIRPUR (AJK), (Millat + APP): The overall position of the rivers inflows and outflows at Mangla (in Mirpur district), Tarbela and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages remained on Wednesday – according to official sources
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 17100 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 15000 cusecs and Outflows 15000 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 17300 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 22100 cusecs and Outflows 6300 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 32000 cusecs and Outflows 30800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 39200 cusecs and Outflows38000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 27500 cusecs and Outflows 21800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 20100 cusecs and Outflows 16400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 38000 cusecs and Outflows 31600 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 31200 cusecs and Outflows 9200 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 4500 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1437.56 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.154 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1114.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 0.887 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.132 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m. on Wednesday.
