Rivers flows, reservoirs level report

LAHORE, (APP): The position of the river inflows and
outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs
levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 11400 cusecs and Outflows
63000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 9500 cusecs and Outflows
9500 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 19200 cusecs and Outflows
45000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows
3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 73400 cusecs and Outflows 64900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 66100 cusecs and Outflows 61000 cusecs,
Taunsa: Inflows 55500 cusecs and Outflows 48400 cusecs,
Panjnad: Inflows 23000 cusecs and Outflows 13200 cusecs,
Guddu: Inflows 52200 cusecs and Outflows 46700 cusecs,
Sukkur: Inflows 35500 cusecs and Outflows 6600 cusecs,
Kotri: Inflows 4000 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level
1459.83 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live
storage today 1.894 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level
1117.25 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live
storage today 0.962 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level
641.40 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage
today 0.062 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and
Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla
have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the
other flows have been gauged at 6 am.
