ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved Rs.1400.00 million PC-1 for the extension of the Marghazar Zoo .from 25 acres land to 80 acres. The Planing Wing of the authority had completed the all codalformalities of extention from 25 acres to 80 acres. CDA will utilize all available resources to make Marghzaar Zoo a state of the art facility and steps would be taken to make it financially sustainable one. Member Administration CDA, Muhammad Suleman Khan Warriach said while recently visiting Marghzaar Zoo. He said that in line with the directions of Mayor, Marghzaar Zoo would be extended and upgraded not only to provide healthy recreational opportunities but would be developed as a hub of positive activities. He said that more recreational and entertainment opportunities would be added in the zoo. He said that due to shortage of funds, strategy would be evolved to carry out phase wise extension of the zoo. He said that Marghazar Zoo has significant importance due to its ideal location and beautiful surroundings.
