SARGODHA, July 26 (APP): Municipal Corporation Sargodha annual budget of
Rs 946 million was approved unanimously by the elected body on Wednesday.
Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed presented the budget while deputy Mayor Bilal
Khan and other elected members participated in the budget meeting held here.
The Mayor told the meeting that Rs 34 million funds have been allocated for Annual Development Program whereas each member would get
Rs 1 million for development projects in their concerned Union Councils.
The meeting was briefed that provincial government has approved Rs 1.2
billion for a mega sewerage and water supply project.
Malik Aslam Naveed said that parking fee has been waived off from
various bazaars of the city added that Patha Mandi ground was being converted into Model bazaar for enhancing income sources of the corporation.
The mayor directed all the members to work hard for provision of
facilities in their concerned UCs without any discrimination.
