QUETTA, Feb 22 (APP):Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Thursday said government would provide security to all NGOs working for the well being of citizens in far flung areas of province.
He stated this while addressing an event organized by “Insaniyat Bachao” NGO here. The event was organized to mark the success of rehabilitation process initiated by Insaniyat Bachao organization.
Till date, 920 drug addicts have been treated and are now leading a normal life.
On the occasion, Secretary Information Mir Tayyab Lehri, Director DGPR Shahzad Farhat Jan Ahmad Zai, Head of Insaniyat Bachao Organization Dr. Mohammad Ramzan, other social workers and officers were also present.
The minister said that drug addicts are financial burden on their families and demoralize the values of the society.
He said that youth are the future of the country and it is our responsibility to educate them and prevent them from all kinds of social evils.
