KARACHI, (MILLAT/APP): Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair Monday gave
assent to the Prohibitation of Employment of Children Bill -2017.
The bill was passed by the Sindh Assembly on January 25, 2017, said a
statement here.
According to the act, in every field of life including financial and
welfare institutions the employment of Children is prohibited.
The government will form a Sindh Coordination Committee regarding Child
Labour through a notification which will suggest the government about legal, administrative and other measures to bring Child Labour to an end in accordance with the law of International organizations.
The committee will also suggest regarding the minimum age for
employment.
