KARACHI, (APP): Sindh Minister for Health, Jam Mehtab
Hussain Dahar has ordered strict action against quack doctors
throughout the province.
Addressing a meeting at his office, he directed all the DHOs to
take action against quack doctors with cooperation of concerned local
administrations and police, said a handout issued here on Tuesday.
The minister said these quack doctors are not only playing with
the lives of people but also spreading hepatitis and other diseases.
He said it is astonishing that literate people even become the
victim of such quack doctors.
Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar directed health department officials not
to tolerate any kind of pressure in this regard.
He thanked media, particularly electronic media for airing public
service messages to increase awareness among masses about heat stroke.
The health minister said that all the stakeholders will have to
work together, to avoid deaths from heat stroke.
