ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Leader of the House in Senate, Raja Zafar ul Haq on Friday said that the Parliament did not pass the law of Khatm-e-Nabuwat
(Finality of the Prophethood )) on anyone’s pressure, as it is our belief.
Speaking in the Senate he said that those who will misuse the law of Finality of the Prophethood would be barred by the same Parliament which constituted the law.
Senator Abdul Qayyum while speaking on another motion, said that the members of Parliament will have to work efficiently to enhance the trust of people on democracy.
He said the new generation should be well aware about the sacrifices of their elders for the establishment of Pakistan.
He said that the loan which is being taken as a debt would be utilized on the development projects, adding’ in this way the country would be developed and its debt would be decreased, he added.
Senator Sehar Kamran said that four pillars of the country should work under the law of land as this is
the only way for the development of the country.
She objected the questions raised by the few sects of the society that whether the present government would complete its tenure or not, will surely damage the image of Pakistan at national and international level.
A democratic government should complete its tenure as it is only way for the sake of democracy, she added.
