Syed Ali Gilani denounces illegal detention of Yasin Malik

ISLAMABAD, (APP): All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, has strongly denounced the illegal detention of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in Srinagar Central Jail.
According to KMS, he in a statement issued in Srinagar said,
“The police have virtually banned the movement of the pro-freedom people and they are not even allowed to meet each other. It is the worst kind of state oppression which should be condemned at every level.”
The APHC Chairman said that this attitude of the puppet authorities with the resistance leaders had no moral or constitutional justification and it would have very serious consequences. “This attitude of the authorities is increasing the political uncertainty and instability in Jammu and Kashmir and it can any time turn the situation uncontrollable,” he said.
Syed Ali Gilani said that the pro-freedom leaders could not be scared by these pressure tactics and they would resist the anti-people policies of the RSS-backed PDP regime in every possible way.
