LAHORE, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): A seminar was held to create
awareness and mobilise youth in favour of tax culture and
its benefits to economy of the country.
Former Income Tax Commissioner Mustafa Ashraf was
chief guest at the seminar which was held at Dr Nisar
Auditorium of Unique College in connection with the Punjab Tax
Day 2017 here.
The seminar was held to create awareness among the
students and masses about tax as a social responsibility.It
also aimed at promoting tax culture through mobilisation of
youth in the country.
Mustafa Ashraf,speaking on the occasion,said the
taxation process is the gateway to the progress of a country,
adding that the government has overcome the shortcomings in
the current taxation system.He stressed that tax is a national
responsibility.
Chairman Unique Group Abdul Manan Khurram presented a
souvenir to the chief guest.
A number of students and teachers attended the seminar.
