ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and
Kashmir (TeH) in occupied Kashmir has condemned the arrest spree
unleashed by Indian police and troops across the territory and
termed it frustration of the authorities.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet
spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the
puppet regime was harassing the innocent people especially the
youth on one pretext or the other to suppress the ongoing
liberation movement but would never succeed in its nefarious
designs.
Condemning nocturnal raids being conducted by Indian police,
the spokesman said that during such raid, Khizar Muhammad Ganai,
Molvi Zahoor Ahmad Mala, Aamir Majid Butt, Yasin Fayaz Rather,
Merajudin Butt, Sajad Nabi Butt, Aijaz Ramzan, Waqar Majid, Nazir
Ahmad Mir and Manzoor Ahmad Mala were arrested from Tarzoo area of
Sopore.
The spokesman while condemning the illegal arrests said that
police and forces had created a sense of insecurity among peaceful
and innocent youth.
He said the youth were being arrested from nook and cranny
of the territory which had created panic among people.
The spokesman said the police and paramilitary personnel had
unleashed a reign of terror in the territory and in their
indiscriminate use of pellets and smoke shelling, scores of
innocent and peaceful protestors were seriously injured at Tahab
in Pulwama.
He maintained that despite detentions, harassment and
ransacking properties and detaining innocent youth, the Kashmiri
people would continue their struggle for freedom.
The spokesman also expressed grief over the sad demise of
Saif Yusuf, the son of the Editor of Srinagar Times, Sofi Mohammad
Yusuf.

the bereaved family.
