FAISALABAD (APP): The police department has made tight
security arrangements for Shab-e-Qadar to avoid any untoward
incident.
Police spokesman told here on Saturday that there are total 682
mosques in the district where tight security arrangements have been
made to provide safe and security atmosphere to the faithful on the
eve of Shab-e-Qadar.
He told more than 1100 police Jawans have been deputed for their
security.
He told that 5 Superintendents Police (SPs), 13 Deputy Superintendents
Police (DSPs) and 10 Inspectors have also been deployed for monitoring the security arrangements whereas 14 teams of elite force have also been directed to ensure patrolling across the district on this occasion.
He told that the police have also erected pickets at 37 points across
the district to keep vigilant eye on the suspects and foil nefarious designs of the miscreants.
