HYDERABAD, (APP): To mark the World Women Day, the
management of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro is going to lay foundation of Women’s Engineers Society at a ceremony to be held on Tuesday at the central auditorium of the university.
According to university spokesman, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr.
Muhammad Aslam Uqaili who will preside over the World Women Day ceremony, will highlight the aims and objectives of the formation of Women Engineers Society.
On the occasion, life achievement awards will also be given to two
prominent educationists of Mehran University including Rosy Ilyas Ishqi and Mumtaz Munshi, the spokesman said and informed that MPA Kulsoom Akhtar Chandio will be the chief guest of the ceremony where eminent gender expert Shabnam Baloch will deliver lectures about renowned women and their organizations.
