Torkham border remains open for second day

PESHAWAR, (MILLAT/APP): The Pak-Afghan border at Torkham remained open today for the second day as Pakistan earlier decided to reopen the border for two days to facilitate the stranded people on either sides of the border.
Security sources said that only those Afghan pedestrians were allowed to cross the border that has valid travelling documents.
They said that stranded Pakistanis in Afghanistan could also pass through after providing national passport.
As many as 12,541 Afghan nationals returned to Afghanistan via valid travel documents, said the sources and added that 500 Pakistanis have returned home.
