FAISALABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP)-Two persons were killed and five others sustained
injuries in separate road accidents here during the past 12 hours.
Rescue 1122 spokesman said on Tuesday that a passenger was killed while five others were injured when a van LRO-3661 turned turtle after its tie-rod broke near chak 205-RB at Khurrianwala road.
The van driver Muzammal died on the spot while five passengers including Fateh Bibi, Noor Muhammad and Rimsha and others sustained injuries and were shifted to Allied hospital.
Similarly, a 40-year-old Shahbaz resident of Chak No 277- RB was returning home on his motorcycle when a speedy van hit his two-wheeler near Lakhoana at Khurrianwala road.He received serious injuries and was rushed to Allied Hospital where he breathed his last.
Bodies of all ill-fated victims were handed over to their relatives for burial after legal formalities, the police spokesman said.
