Two terrorists killed at Jalalpur Pirwala
MULTAN, (MILLAT ONLINE):Two terrorists were killed in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Multan at Jalalpur Pirwala tahsil late Thursday night.
CTD spokesman said, they received information from a credible source at about 11:50 pm that terrorist wanted in case of CTD Punjab namely M Ajmal along with 5 terrorists/accomplices affiliated with proscribed organisation were present near Jalal Pur Peer Wala, Multan district.
A CTD Multan team raided above mentioned place and warned terrorists to surrender. The terrorists, however, started firing at the raiding party and divided into two groups.
The CTD team took cover and retaliated in self defence. When the firing stopped, two terrorists were found dead by the firing of their own accomplices including Ajmal. Remaining 3-4 unknown terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.
Identity of one unknown dead terrorist is being established. An automatic rifle, a pistol and ammunition were recovered.
Investigation has been launched into the incident, CTD Punjab spokesman said.
