UNICEF appeals aid for children of conflict zone countries

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund
(UNICEF) has appealed for aid for the education of 70 million children from conflict zone countries across the world.
According to a private news channel, every fourth child among 462
million during the age of 3 to 18 years old belongs to the country who is facing humanitarian crisis, it was said in the report that 6,000 schools are closed due to ongoing civil war in Syria from last five years.
However, each among five schools has been affected due to fighting in
Eastern Ukraine, while the rate of girls who are not going to schools have
been increased by two-and-half-fold as compared to boys ratio during the war.
