LAHORE, (APP): US ambassador David Hale Tuesday called on
Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana and offered condolences
on the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park tragedy besides discussing matters of mutual interest during a meeting at the Governor’s House.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Governor Rajwana said the number of
sacrifices rendered by Pakistani nation in the war against terrorism has been unprecedented in the history of the world.
He said the armed forces and the people of Pakistan have sacrificed
their lives for the survival of the world rather the defence of the country.
US ambassador David Hale, while talking to Punjab Governor, said
Pakistanis have strong nerves and are a brave nation.
Hale said Pakistan is a reliable ally of the United States of America.
