SIALKOT,(MILLAT+APP): A woman was killed and seven other people
including her son were injured on Monday when a Wapda transformer
fell down on the Jashn-e-Eid Miladun Nabi (SWW) procession participants
in Sarafa Bazaar.
According to police, women and children were witnessting the
procession passing-by when the transformer installed on a pole
fell down. As a result, Ammara (40), wife of Shahbaz, died on-the-spot while her son, Abubakr (4) and others including Abdullah (9), Husnain (3), Sajjal (14), Robina (30), Zareena (50) and Saba (25) received severe injuries.
Rescue 1122 rushed to spot and shifted the dead and injured to
nearby hospital.
