Women killed, several injured in Indian troops firing
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):A woman was killed and over one dozen people were injured in the firing of Indian troops on protesters in Shopian, Indian Held Kashmir |(IHK) on Tuesday.
People took to the streets in different areas of Shopian against the killing of Kashmiri youth by the troops during a violent siege and search operation in Wanipora area of the district, KMS reported.
The troops fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters resulting in the killing of a young woman identified as wife of Manzoor Ahmad and injuring of several others. The woman received a bullet in abdomen.
The puppet authorities have snapped the mobile internet services in Shopian district and suspended the train service in the Kashmir Valley.
