World urged to help stop rights violations in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The Jammu and Kashmir People’s
Movement (JKPM) and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in occupied
Kashmir, have urged the international community especially the
United Nations (UN) to help bring an end to the gross human rights
violations being perpetrated by the Indian armed forces in Jammu
and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS) , JKPM Chairman Mir
Shahid Saleem in Jammu said people of the disputed Jammu and
Kashmir were the worst victims of the state terrorism unleashed by
the Indian forces in the territory.
The JKPM chairman deplored that in spite of the alarming
situation prevailing in the disputed region there has been no
initiative or interference from the world community especially the
United Nations to save the people of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman,
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing a gathering at Sarnal in Islamabad
district said the globally accepted dispute over Jammu and Kashmir
issue remains as a bone of contention between Pakistan and India.
He also condoled with journalist Hilal Zargar over demise of
his mother.
