Yasin Malik, Kalwal shifted to undisclosed place

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation
Front (JKLF) has expressed serious concern about the safety of the
party Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and leader, Noor Muhammad
Kalwal.
The authorities have shifted the two leaders to some
undisclosed location. They were recently moved to Joint
Interrogation Centre (JIC) Humhama from Srinagar Central Jail, KMS
reported.
The JKLF Vice Chairman, Advocate Bashir Ahmed Butt, in a
statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the frequent shifting of
Muhammad Yasin Malik from one jail to another and continued
killing spree in occupied Kashmir.
“Recently Muhammad Yasin Malik and Noor Muhammad Kalwal were
shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to JIC Humhama, but after
keeping them there for only two days, they have yet again been
shifted to some unknown jail now. Torturing leaders by shifting
them here and there actually amounts to uncivilized and inhuman
approach of the so-called rulers who want to break the will and
resolve of people by these mean tactics,” Advocate Bashir Ahmed
Butt said.
He also denounced the killing of Danish Manzoor Lone of
Rafiabad, Baramulla, and said, “Killing Kashmiris in cold blood is
continuing, so is the callousness of so-called rulers who instead
of putting an end to these killings and pellet terrorism are
fabricating stories after stories to provide a legal shield to
killers.”
He said that on one side, spree of killings was going on and
on the other, nocturnal raids, arrests, slapping draconian Public
Safety Act on innocents and torturing of resistance leadership
were continuing. He condemned the arrest of senior Hurriyet
leader, Dr Ghulam Muhammad Hubbi, and invoking of PSA against him.
The JKLF Vice Chairman also condemned the vandalizing of
thousands of houses, buses, cars and other vehicles by Indian
forces across the territory. “Recently the residential house of a
senior journalist Danish Ahmad at Batamaloo in Srinagar was stoned
by police and paramilitary personnel and his ailing family was
terrorized,” he deplored.
Meanwhile, the JKLF statement said that a peaceful public
programme was held in Safakdal area of Srinagar under the banner
of joint resistance leadership in which besides others JKLF
leaders and activists including Bashir Ahmed Kashmiri also
participated.
